Angel Wing Begonia Susie

Angel Wing Begonia Susie

Angel Wing Begonia Susie, what can I say about this begonia! The pictures say it all! The leaves are a bat wing shaped and splattered with lots of white spots. The flowers are long large clusters of lipstick color pink! This begonia is blooming like crazy! It hasn’t stopped blooming since spring. It is a tall compact grower so you don’t have to pinch it off. It is growing outside under the trees and I have a few growing in the greenhouse. The ones outside are blooming a deep lipstick color and the ones in the greenhouse are blooming a lighter pink. I just sold the last ones I had yesterday. I won’t have any more until next spring. I might offer a few cuttings for sale this summer; I will have to see, I just can’t bring myself to cutting a few stems off right now it is growing so beautiful and its full of blooms!

Episcia My Precious

Episcia My Precious

Episcia My Precious is blooming a beautiful lemon color flower. This episcia has light green and silver leaves. I couldn’t wait for the flower to open! As soon as it bloomed I took this picture. I purchased this episcia about six weeks ago. I don’t have very many green leaved episcias as you can see from all of my other episicas that are pictured on my blog. Hopefully I will have a few starter plants by the end of the summer. Does anyone know how many other episcias bloom yellow? I know of two other episcias that bloom yellow; Episcia Tropical Topaz and Episcia Suomi.
